I hope you have had a wonderful holiday season and are getting ready for the new year.  I sure am!

I have never been much for new year resolutions?  How about you?

What I am big on now is setting Intentions – and for me there is no better time than the beginning of a fresh new year to set your Intentions to create your life the way you truly want it to be.

Would you agree?

In 2007 my goal was to replace my husband’s income so he could retire from the pharmaceutical industry and we could move from Michigan back to North Carolina where I am originally from.

Well, I achieved my goal and we did move to NC and built new custom log home on a mountain, which we love and are very grateful for.

We have now been in our new home for almost two years!

Think I created and attracted all of that?  Absolutely… and with great INTENTION!

When I surrendered to a power that is greater than me I began to receive more than I could have imagined for myself.

You can do that too!

So, what are you intentions for 2011, and how do you get what you want?

I believe it is by a combination of getting clear about what you want, ASKING and ALLOWING your good to come to you… surrendering to a power that is greater than you.

This is my affirmation which you are welcome to borrow:

“I surrender to a power that is greater than me – that lives within me – that can deliver more good to me in more ways than I can ever imagine for myself.”

For me, it means asking for what I want, surrendering to the power greater than me to deliver more good than I can imagine for myself…AND being open to receiving… ALLOWING my good to flow to me in perfect and Divine timing.

It means exactly that… opening myself to the Divine inspiration that flows through me when I allow it… and I AM allowing it.

Creating what I want is getting easier and easier for me as I let go… and allow… or let go and let God.

You can too.

Are you allowing what you want to flow into your life?

Many of us say we want this or that BUT we can’t afford it or we don’t deserve it or no one in our family has ever had that.

When you add the BUT to your sentence you are STOPPING the flow.  State only what you DO want.

You CAN have anything you want… starting right now.

Since I left the corporate world as a paralegal over 12 years ago, I have learned SO much and I continue to learn every day.

With regard to my business intentions, one of my secrets is allowing people to get to know me and inviting new people into my life who can lead me to resources and tools that will help me achieve my income goals.

My business intention for 2011 is the same as it was for 2010 – and you may borrow this one too…

“It is my intention to attract to me those people who are looking for the products and services I offer, who are ready and qualified to begin, and who are willing to put forth the effort to create success.”

Wouldn’t you rather ATTRACT new business than spend your time convincing others that what you have is right for them?

Why not just attract the people who are already looking for you?

It’s a wonderful way to do business.

It’s time to write your Abundance Checks!

Abundance Check Ritual for the New Moon

This ritual has been handed down through so many people that its origin has become unknown.

So What Is An Abundance Check?

Writing an Abundance Check is an exercise you can use to create more abundance in your life and the check is to be written within 24 hours after each New Moon.

It is not necessary to believe that the check will work when you write it and you may be surprised at the increased Abundance you find flowing into your life, whether it be financial or in other areas of your life.

It is best to follow the described procedure; however, if you do not have a checking account you may also draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way to receive the same results.

Follow these steps to write your Abundance checks WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER A NEW MOON:

1. On your check where it says “Pay to,” write your name.

2. On the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write “Paid in full.”

3. On the next line where you would write out a dollar amount, write “Paid in full.” [Some say it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]

4. On the signature line, sign your check: “The Law of Abundance”

It is not necessary to put a date on the check and you DO NOT write a specific dollar amount on the check. Then put the check away in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take over from there.

If you feel skeptical about the Abundance Check Exercise, just do it routinely every month for a while and see what happens!

Of all the resources I study to further my spiritual growth, there is one thread that runs throughout, and that is LOVE.

When we express love we are raising our own spiritual consciousness or vibrational frequency – and sending love to everyone around us is literally sharing love with the world.

Imagine the difference each of us can make if every time you see someone anywhere and everywhere you say out loud or silently, “I love you.”

Love is a form of meditation.  Sit quietly for a few minutes and simply say silently, “I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you…”

FEEL the difference.

The next time you get angry with someone, send love.  Just say silently “I love you.”

You can choose love in any situation.  It is truly YOUR choice.

So, as we each make our way through all the holiday celebrations and get ready to celebrate the beginning of a new year, know that you ARE loved and that your presence here on earth is meaningful and makes a difference in my life and in the lives of those around you.

You have the opportunity to be, do and have anything you want, and you don’t have to wait for the new year.  Begin now.  Choose to think and say only high vibration thoughts and words.
